Dedicated to Helping Animals

We are a small non-profit, no-kill, foster-based, animal rescue and rehabilitation based out of Oregon City, Oregon. We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization and can provide donation receipts for tax purposes.

Please note, we are open to adoptions & donations, but at this time, we are closed to intakes until at least July. This is due to a shortage of funds, volunteers & adoptions. Please – if you can foster or donate, it would really help us continue to keep our doors open, helping animals in need. Thank you for your support.

100% of adoption fees and donations go to help more animals in need instead of going inside someone’s pocket as a salary or bonus. We depend on volunteers and donors to keep helping animals.

We will do everything possible to diagnose, treat, rehabilitate, and adopt to loving homes, every single animal we accept into this rescue. We never euthanize a fur child for lack of funds or space.

Dedicated to Helping Animals is a foster-based rescue. Animals that are accepted go into foster homes until they are fully vetted, more socialized and eventually adopted.

Foster

We are always looking for good fosters. Visit our page and fill out our form to become an official foster family, our dogs need you.

Adopt

Donate

Our group runs on donations, please consider helping our animals in need by making a one-time or regular monthly donation.

Kylee Fancher started Dedicated to Helping Animals (D2HA) out of her love for helping animals and people in need.

“Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to help animals. I remember being four years old and watching Animal Cops on TV. That was one of my favorite shows, and I always thought it would be my dream job to get justice for abused and neglected animals. If someone would have asked me when I was four years old what I would do with $1,000,000 I would have said buy a shelter for animals and make it really nice for them.”

She studied business at Clackamas Community College and received a BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a Spanish minor from Portland State University. Kylee graduated on the president’s list from both schools. During these studies, she spent various terms living in different parts of Mexico. She did online classes and volunteered for animal rescue organizations that D2HA partners with today.

“I never felt belonging like this anywhere else. My rescue community is so passionate about helping animals and each other. Knowing like-minded people whose work I respect so deeply is such a privilege.”
